Job Role Overview & Importance
A Scaffolder Supervisor is responsible for overseeing scaffold erection, dismantling, inspection, and workforce coordination at industrial project sites. In Aramco projects, this role is highly important because safe scaffolding operations directly affect worker safety, operational efficiency, and project productivity. Supervisors ensure all scaffold structures meet approved standards while maintaining compliance with industrial safety procedures and project regulations. Their expertise helps prevent workplace accidents and supports smooth execution of maintenance and construction activities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will supervise scaffolding teams, inspect scaffold structures, and ensure all erection and dismantling activities follow Aramco safety standards and approved procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring workforce performance, conducting safety checks, coordinating with project management teams, and ensuring proper use of scaffolding materials and equipment. Scaffolder Supervisors are also expected to identify workplace hazards, maintain accurate project documentation, and support safe operational practices across the project site.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must be Aramco Approved and should have previous supervisory experience in industrial, refinery, or oil & gas projects within Saudi Arabia. Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, industrial safety regulations, and workforce coordination is highly preferred. Candidates should possess leadership abilities, communication skills, and the capability to manage scaffolding operations professionally under demanding project conditions. Experience in shutdown or refinery projects will be considered an additional advantage.
