Job Role Overview & Importance
Rigging and scaffolding professionals play a critical role in industrial projects where heavy lifting operations and elevated work activities are performed daily. Riggers are responsible for supporting safe movement and positioning of equipment and materials, while Scaffolding Supervisors manage scaffold installation activities and ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations. These positions are highly important because proper lifting coordination and safe scaffolding systems directly contribute to accident prevention, workplace safety, and smooth project execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform duties according to their assigned positions and operational requirements. Riggers will inspect lifting gear, secure loads properly, coordinate with crane operators, and support safe material handling activities. Scaffolding Supervisors will oversee scaffold erection and dismantling activities, monitor workforce safety, inspect scaffold structures, and ensure compliance with project standards and industrial safety procedures. All employees are expected to maintain workplace discipline, follow operational instructions, and support efficient project activities throughout the contract duration.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have previous experience working in refinery, industrial, construction, or oil & gas projects within Saudi Arabia or Gulf countries. Candidates applying for Rigger positions should possess strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging techniques, and industrial safety procedures. Applicants for the Scaffolding Supervisor role should demonstrate supervisory experience, scaffolding safety knowledge, and workforce coordination skills. Relevant certifications, approvals, and project experience will be considered an advantage during recruitment.
