Description
The Construction and Engineering category includes a broad spectrum of technical and supervisory roles that are fundamental to the success of large-scale industrial and offshore developments. These positions are directly involved in fabrication, welding, blasting, painting, pipe fitting, mechanical maintenance, materials handling, and safety supervision. In major project locations such as Ras Al Khair, professionals working under this category contribute significantly to maintaining operational efficiency while complying with strict international and Aramco standards.
The primary purpose of these roles is to deliver high-quality workmanship within defined project timelines while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. From supervisors and foremen to technicians and safety officers, every team member plays a strategic role in sustaining productivity and preventing costly delays. Offshore and industrial environments demand discipline, precision, and technical expertise, making this job category essential to Saudi Arabia’s growing infrastructure, oil, gas, and energy sectors. With long-term project stability and urgent mobilization requirements, these opportunities support the Kingdom’s continued industrial expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Professionals in the Construction and Engineering category are responsible for executing and supervising project activities in accordance with approved engineering drawings and specifications. Fabrication supervisors and foremen manage workforce allocation, monitor productivity, and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently. Welding foremen and pipe fitters carry out structural joining and installation processes with accuracy to maintain structural integrity and safety compliance. Painting supervisors, blasters, and applicators—particularly those with Aramco approval—must strictly adhere to coating procedures and surface preparation standards to ensure durability and long-term protection.
Storekeepers oversee inventory control, manage material issuance, and maintain accurate documentation to support uninterrupted site operations. Mechanics are tasked with maintaining heavy equipment and machinery, diagnosing faults, and preventing breakdowns that could disrupt workflow. Offshore Safety Officers enforce safety regulations, conduct site inspections, perform risk assessments, and ensure all operations meet Aramco offshore safety requirements. Their role is critical in maintaining a secure work environment and minimizing hazards in high-risk offshore conditions.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of six years of relevant experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, preferably in offshore or Aramco-related projects. Strong technical expertise is required in respective fields such as welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, blasting, coating applications, mechanical systems, or safety management. Certain positions require mandatory Aramco approval, particularly for Painting Supervisors, Blasters, Applicators, and Offshore Safety Officers.
Safety Officers must possess valid certifications including OSHA, IOSH, BLS, First Aid, BOSIET, and H2S, reflecting their competency in offshore safety standards. Candidates should be knowledgeable in interpreting project documentation, understanding compliance regulations, and coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills, leadership qualities for supervisory roles, and the ability to perform under pressure in demanding offshore environments are essential. All applicants must present valid documentation, including Iqama, Muqeem status, medical certificate, CR, passport, vendor code, and an updated CV to meet mobilization criteria.
