Job Role Overview
A Manlift Operator is responsible for safely operating aerial work platforms and manlift equipment used for working at heights. The role supports construction, maintenance, installation, and inspection activities while ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate manlift equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment.
- Transport workers and materials to elevated work areas.
- Follow site safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Report equipment defects or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and site personnel during operations.
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Manlift Operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial and construction site safety procedures.
- Ability to operate lifting equipment safely.
- Valid project documents and certifications as required by the employer.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
