Job Role Overview & Importance
Rigging and scaffolding professionals play a critical role in industrial construction and refinery operations. Riggers are responsible for supporting safe lifting, movement, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment during project activities, while Scaffolding Supervisors manage scaffolding operations and ensure elevated work structures meet industrial safety standards. These positions are highly important because proper lifting coordination and safe scaffolding systems directly contribute to workplace safety, project efficiency, and operational productivity in industrial environments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform duties according to their assigned roles and project requirements. Rigger personnel will assist with lifting operations, inspect rigging equipment, secure heavy loads, coordinate with crane operators, and maintain compliance with safety procedures during material handling activities. Scaffolding Supervisors will oversee scaffold erection and dismantling activities, monitor workforce safety, inspect scaffolding systems, and ensure all operations comply with industrial safety standards and project guidelines. All employees are expected to maintain workplace discipline, follow operational instructions, and support smooth project execution throughout the contract period.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have previous experience working in industrial, refinery, construction, or oil & gas projects within Saudi Arabia or Gulf countries. Strong understanding of lifting procedures, scaffolding safety standards, industrial operations, and workplace regulations is highly preferred. Candidates applying for supervisory roles should demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to manage field teams professionally. Relevant certifications, rigging experience, scaffolding supervision experience, and valid supporting documents will be considered an advantage during recruitment.
