Job Role Overview & Importance
Work Permit Receivers (WPR) and Riggers play a critical role in maintaining safety and operational efficiency in industrial environments. WPR professionals ensure that all work activities are properly authorized and comply with safety procedures before execution. Riggers are responsible for handling lifting operations, securing loads, and ensuring safe movement of heavy equipment. These roles are essential in preventing workplace accidents, improving productivity, and ensuring smooth execution of industrial and construction activities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform duties according to their assigned roles. WPR personnel will coordinate with supervisors and safety teams, verify site conditions, manage permit documentation, and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards before work begins. Riggers (Level 1 & Level 3) will handle lifting operations, inspect rigging tools, attach and secure loads, and coordinate with crane operators for safe material movement. All workers are expected to follow strict safety protocols, maintain discipline, and support smooth project operations throughout the duration of the project.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have prior experience working in industrial, oil & gas, refinery, or construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Strong knowledge of safety procedures, permit systems, and rigging operations is highly preferred. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial environments. Valid documents, including Iqama, Muqeem, Insurance, Medical, Passport Copy, and Visa Copy, are required for processing. Experience in long-term projects and shutdown work will be considered an advantage.
